I left the door open again today. I didn’t lock it. I didn’t forget to. I just didn’t.
I always leave the door open.
Sometimes the door closes itself in the wind; Slams with a shout, Seals me in, Shuts me off.
But I get up from my seat And open it again.
The door’s always open.
Errrm...Errrm…Errrm...
Today, I forgot, And because I’m oh so good at forgetting I even forgot that there was something Which I should be remembering
Later, when I remembered That I had forgotten I quickly decided to write it down But, by the time the pen and paper was ready I could only remember That there was something I’d forgotten…
Oh yeah! I was meant to be writing a poem today…
